Our Trips
Eco Chettusia tours  organizing trips in  the Danube Delta by boats built in Holland, special for narrow channels, max. 8 places each, endowed with own  kitchen, saloon, bedroom for relaxing, wc, outside terasse.
The boats are silents, very pleasants and they have the advantage  to enter in shallow water.
Our guides are speaking English, French or Italian language and they are skilled in Danube Delta, birds and mammals from here, people and general informations about this fantastic place called-DANUBE DELTA.

Eco Chettusia tours has special programs for nature photographers, in the richest birds areals, fantastic landscapes…
Our silent boats are able to get closed by birds, but we also use for those tours rawing boats or small engine boats.

Day 1: Transfer from the airport Bucharest to Tulcea(190 miles).Meals depending on your arrival.Accomodation in Tulcea in a guest house (3 stars)

DAY 2: Tulcea-THE DANUBE DELTA-Channel Litcov-Channel Crisan. Starting now, the trip will be by water way,on a boat with water toilette, kitchen, terasse for bird watching,saloon with bads for sleepee people! Accommodation in Crisan village,in a very nice guest house situated along the Danube river,in the middle of the Danube Delta. Is the day when planty of birds could be seen all over and very close.Is the pelicans, herons or woodpeakers day...

DAY 3: Crisan - Caraorman village, crossing the lakes. Puiu-Puiulet-Rosu-Rosulet-Sulina town. A day very rich in bird watching, pelicans, a lot of species of herons, grebes,falcons(especialy red footed falcon), white tailed eagle...Breakfast in Crisan,lunch on board,in the middle of the nature,dinner and accomodation in Sulina town.

DAY 4: Sulina is a very old romanian town, that in old times was a pirate refugees port. The town is very interesting for its international cemetery and the old light tower. Here the Danube enters into the Black Sea... It,s a walking day, and also,for birds passioned a very interesting day(srikes, hoopoos, bee-eaters and more others...All meals we will have in Sulina(board or restaurants..)

Day 1) We leave Tulcea to Caraorman villagge, situated in the middle of the danube delta. We will cross a very nice canal Litcov, with a lot of birds like herons, egrets, pelicans, ibis, spoonbils. Breakfast and lunch on board, dinner and accomodation in Caraorman in a guest house.

Day 2) After a visit in the forest Caraorman we will leave to Mila 23 crossing the lakes Bogdaproste, Trei Iezere, Radacinos. Mila 23 is a very interesting villagge, old belivers rssian people living there.
Is a day of pelicans, rollers and a lor of other thigs. Also ,we will stop in Crisan villagge to visit the danube delta eco information centre.
Breakfast to the guest house,lunch on board,dinner and accomodation in Mila 23 villagge in a very nice guest house.

Day 3) Starting Mila 23 village we will visit a very nice monastery, BATAG, situated in the middle of the reed area. After the visit we will continuesthe day with short trips with small boats on very, very wild places where wecould see the birds at one - two m. far. Lunch on board, dinner and accomodation in Mila 23 villagge.

Day4) After the breakfast on your guest house, starting another nice day, return to Tulcea town on Sontea, Olgutza, Sireasa, Mila 35 canals. Ofcourse, a short break for cafee on Fortuna lake will be great. As birds... full day for herons, wans, pelicans, egrets, white tailed eagle andmore, more others.. Lunch on board, including very taste romanian wine.

Day 1) Starting Tulcea by Sulina canal.Crossing Sulina canal, Iulia canal, Sontea canal arriving in Mila 23 villagge. Visit in the village,sun set on Ligheanca lake. Lunch on board, dinner and accomodation in a guest house inMila 23. The Mila 23 is a small fishermen village, situated in the heart of the danubedelta. Is a very nice day, we could see some villages longer the Danube river, nicecanals and lakes. As birds, herons, storks, kingfishers, pelicans, rollers,etc....

Day 2) Starting Mila 23 village we will visit a very nice monastery, BATAG,situated in the middle of the reed area. After the visit we will continuesthe day with short trips with small boats on very, very wild places where wecould see the birds at one - two m. far. Lunch on board, dinner and accomodation in Mila 23 villagge.

Day 3) After the breakfast on your guest house,starting another nice day, return to Tulcea town on Sontea, Olgutza, Sireasa, Mila 35 canals. One day trips in the Danube Delta

This trips are organized usually for families who travel with kids, also for tourists being on Romanian Black Sea coast and who wants to spend one day in the Danube Delta. In this trip we include the traditional lunch based on fish soupe,”mamaligutza”(polenta),garlic sauce with   “saramura”, a kind of salted sauce fish, tasty Romanian wine, fruits, coffee.
The tours starts from Tulcea, continues on  Mila 35 channel, Sireasa channel, Nebunu lake and return to Tulcea in the afternoon.
Usually, this tour is for 6-8 hours.
